July and Some Tips

Hello, everyone!!

Can someone please explain where the year is running to? I can’t believe it’s the second half of the year already. For all those who had goals and resolutions, it’s still not too late for them to be achieved and kudos to those who are fulfilling theirs.

The outfit I’m wearing today, I have had it for a while but haven’t worn it even though I knew already they were meant to be ( sounds like some romance kind of thing but don’t worry guys I’m talking about the clothes). Processed with VSCO with a5 presetProcessed with VSCO with a5 preset

Usually here in Iceland, there’s usually this big sale done twice a year, one in the summer and the other during winter. So there’s a tip for you guys. Save up for discounts days and look out for coupons. Sign up for emails to your favourite online stores so you can know when there is a sale going on and thank me later.

Also if you are a fashion blogger don’t think you can’t wear a cloth or use your accessories more than once on your blog because that’s just a fake life. In the real world, you wear your cloth more than once. The key is styling it in different ways, that way it looks different. Someone in Church once asked me if I always wear new outfit every Sunday and the answer is no because I patch and pair then it looks like an entirely new outfit (at times something is new like the shoe or something else but not the entire outfit) Processed with VSCO with a5 presetProcessed with VSCO with a5 preset

Also do not be afraid to mix colours that complement one another. Growing up we use to do this thing called ‘to-match’ where there must be at least two of the same colour in your outfit and if you wear two completely different colours without any sign of colour matching in your outfit, people would think you are cra-cra. Not now in the age of colour-blocking. But please make sure the colour compliment each other so you won’t look like a confused rainbow or a complete hot mess ( oh! I’m kidding, just be yourself. No! I’m not kidding though. Ok! I’m done)
